Orange Ginger Black Tea

Sweet oranges, spicy ginger and strong citrusy tea and a perfect book. Can it get any better? Instead of making a regular ginger lemon tea, opt for sweet oranges and choose Earl Grey with a citrusy bergamot. In this recipe, ginger adds just enough heat to start autumn in the right way.

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 big oranges
  • 100 ml of water
  • 1 teaspoon of Earl Grey tea
  • ½ – 1 inch of fresh ginger

  2. Add fresh ginger and orange juice into a saucepan and bring to a boil over low-medium heat.
  3. Strain to remove the pulp and pieces of ginger.
  4. Pour into a mug.
  5. In a kettle, bring water to a boil and brew Earl Grey for 5 minutes.
  6. Mix with orange and ginger brew.
  7. Add honey or other sweetener.
