Orange Ginger Black Tea
Sweet oranges, spicy ginger and strong citrusy tea and a perfect book. Can it get any better? Instead of making a regular ginger lemon tea, opt for sweet oranges and choose Earl Grey with a citrusy bergamot. In this recipe, ginger adds just enough heat to start autumn in the right way.
Ingredients:
- 3-4 big oranges
- 100 ml of water
- 1 teaspoon of Earl Grey tea
- ½ – 1 inch of fresh ginger
- Honey (optional)
Instructions:
- Squeeze the juice from oranges.
- Add fresh ginger and orange juice into a saucepan and bring to a boil over low-medium heat.
- Strain to remove the pulp and pieces of ginger.
- Pour into a mug.
- In a kettle, bring water to a boil and brew Earl Grey for 5 minutes.
- Mix with orange and ginger brew.
- Add honey or other sweetener.
