Vegan Shamrock Smoothie

To avoid going to that unhealthy fast food place that shall remain nameless, here is a super tasty, superfood St Patrick’s Day Smoothie.

This St. Patrick’s Day treat has all of the frosty, minty flavor of a Shamrock Shake, yet it’s jam-packed with healthy ingredients! So good (and good for you) you could drink one every day!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4cspinach
  • 1/4avocado
  • 1 1/2very ripe frozen bananas
  • 6ice cubes (optional for an icier shake)
  • 1/4cmint leaves
  • 1chomemade almond milk
  • 1grade B maple syrup
  • 1/4craw cacao nibs, plus more to sprinkle on top

Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients except the cacao nibs into a blender and mix until well blended.
  2. Add cacao nibs and pulse to chop them up, but don’t over-blend because you will lose the green color.
  3. You can add more almond milk if it’s too thick.
  4. Sprinkle with more cacao nibs to garnish.
